We are looking for an experienced and caring nanny for our 10 month old baby boy starting in mid July.
We are looking for someone:
· Gentle & responsive – able to follow hunger cues, without force feeding
· Flexible and able to adapt to family’s schedule for baby
· Clean and hygienic – especially around food prep, bottles and baby
· Knowledgeable about baby development and understands age-appropriate play, routines and transitions
· Health conscious – open communication about wellness is essential to us
Location: Maple Leaf area, Seattle
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm
Start/End Dates: Mid July. We are looking for a long-term relationship
Pay: $25-$30
Benefits: Federal Holidays, sick days
Qualifications/Requirements:
3+ years of infant care experience
Early childhood education experience
Infant CPR and first aid certifications
Non-smoker
Up to date on all vaccines & boosters (COVID, TDAP, flu). Proof required. Willing to wear a mask and be cautious/communicative about your own sickness
Clear background check
2-3 positive references from previous nanny positions
Fluent in English
Duties/Responsibilities:
Preparing and feeding bottles, positive feeding environment.
Safely introducing age -appropriate solid foods
Cleaning baby-related items/areas (dishes, bottles, pump parts, meal and play areas)
Regular diaper changes
Maintaining daily routine and introducing positive routines for sleep
Engaging in age-appropriate active play.
Stroller walks and other age-appropriate outings.
About Us: We both work from home. Please be ok with having us around the space during the day as this cannot change. We are looking for someone empathetic, energetic, calm and positive to take care of our very active and energetic little boy. We are hoping to build a long term relationship with our nanny
