A little bit about us
We are hoping to find a nanny to provide in home services while we are working from home so we can focus more deeply on work. Our daughter is very easy to care for-crying is almost always connected to a need and she loves movement. We would like someone 4 days a week, flexible hours during the work day (ideally Monday-Thursday about twenty hours between the hours of 9-4-prioritizing Tuesday late morning as we have a reoccurring meeting that time) starting around January but could start sooner or later. Pay is 18-21 dollars an hour. If your rate or scheduling needs are different please let us know.
Care focus would be: providing enrichment (play), diaper changes, following sleep cues for naps and bringing her to me every few hours to breast feed. Once we start introducing solids some feeding will be part of care as well. This position would not require driving her anywhere. There will be lots of down time with naps as she sleeps about every 2.5 hours so this could be great for a student to have some time to study. We have a small three story house, we work in the basement and bedroom so you would have the nursery and main floor to yourself.
We are looking for the right individual who enjoys working with children and is vaccinated. Preferred qualifications include someone with CPR certification, reliable transportation, and some level of experience/education in early childhood development.
This would be a perfect position for someone in school or with small children in school because we are flexible with hours needed (we would like some consistency in schedule once established though). We are hoping to find someone that we can have a long term working relationship with and plan to do a casual fit interview with candidates interested at a local coffee shop or our home to make sure this is a good fit for both you and us (remote interview accepted).
