Seeking someone who will feel feel like an auntie. We speak English, Assyrian,. A practicing Catholic (or similar like Church of the East, Christian Orthodox, etc) is preferred.Family attends Mass consistently, prays (grace at meals, bedtime, etc) and we’d like babysitter/nanny to reinforce this.
Duties involve driving to/from school & activities., cooking family meals, possible grocery shopping, playing with kids & general home upkeep (organizing, dishes,, laundry, 1x week cleaning). Shopping/Cooking & cleaning time built into scheduled hours. We keep a clean and tidy home -ready to welcome guests at any time.
We care about having a joyful family, while being involved in church community. Mom & Dad both run demanding family businesses. It’s a priority to spend quality family time & as husband & wife. we’d like ongoing help with the aforementioned tasks.
Must be a NON smoker, fun with kids & adults, family-oriented, sociable, organized & must have good time management skills.
We live in Park Ridge near I-294 & Dempster Street Exit.
About the family/ kids: we are a LOW screen time family (Zero on school days & nights, & very limited selection at other times). Kids are active in sports & have similar age kids to play with nearby.
7 & 9 yr old boys in 2nd & 3rd grade attend school near home. Participate in soccer, wrestling, baseball, & enjoy music.
High schoolers are home some afternoons but not all. 11th grader drives & often will transport our 9th grader.
14 yr old daughter keeps busy with school, friends, sports, & working here and there with kids and camps.
16yr old son plays golf, is in music & drama, & other activities, drives, & has seasonal jobs.
