A little bit about us
We also have a sweet and easy dog, Okamo. She eats 2 cups of food first thing in the morning and just needs to be taken out 3-4 times a day. There’s a dog park right in our backyard, making it convenient for play and walks.
Our situation is unique as I will be joining the fire department, and my husband is already a firefighter working 24-hour shifts. We hope to be on the same schedule, so we would need help with our two kiddos about 9-10 days a month, for 24-28 hours at a time. We typically leave around 5:00 AM and return the next day around 7:00-7:30 AM. Additionally, during my recruit school, we may need shorter help from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM on days when my husband is on his 24-hour shifts. Our finished basement is available if you’d like to stay the night before to make early mornings easier. We’re flexible and willing to work out a schedule that fits everyone!
