A little bit about us
My name is McKenzie, my husband is Jacob and we have a new little boy Jack who will be about 4 months old when I go back to work from maternity leave! We live in Tumwater near Safeway and Costco.
Jack is currently 2 months old and an absolute dream–very consolable, a fresh diaper, bottle, nap or some burping usually keeps him happy. He was born with a brain bleed that we currently have him on anti-seizure medicine for, however after his follow up MRI will likely be weaned off. Despite his birth trauma he's a typical happy 2 month old who was quite a popular guy in the NICU! :)
My husband Jacob will be going back to work in July, and I will be returning in August. I'm an esthetician and will likely be working 4 days a week, and will only need childcare on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. I would likely need care on those days from about 8:30-5:30pm as I typically work 8:45-5:15 and take only 10 minutes to get to work. It would be great to have you nanny at our home so neither of us would need to pick up or drop off but that's not a problem!
We do have a dog Nora and a cat Watson who are very easy to take care of. They both get fed in the morning and Nora will let you know when she needs to go out to go potty. The cat usually keeps to himself, he can be a little standoffish so we can always keep him secluded in our room. Beyond that the fur babies enjoy hanging with their little human, especially Nora!
We wouldn't mind sharing a nanny, and are pretty open to either having Jack at yours, someone else's or our home with another child so long as we could receive a few updates throughout the day like photos and/or videos.
We're a little anxious as we pivot back into our jobs and leaving our son with someone we'll get to know, but also excited for a new normal with our sweet boy.
Thank you for your time and we hope to hear from you soon!
Warmest regards,
The Orabanecs
