A little bit about us

Need after school care Monday through Friday for two elementary aged kids. We are in the suburbs and so having reliable transportation is necessary. I will be working from home some days and may be around from time to time. We do have a medium sized Great Pyrenees who will be home throughout the day and will need to be let out on occasion to go potty. Our family loves science, art, music and creative expression. We keep a small family garden, and both kids really enjoy learning and studying plants, animals, robotics, and art. I would love a candidate who can work with my 1st grader on reading. The kids are not currently enrolled in extracurricular activities but may be in the future. It would be nice to have help getting them to and from activities.

A little bit about us

Hello,

We’re a looking for an experienced, dependable nanny to care for our active 2-year-old son. We’re hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers and values building a long-term, trusting relationship with the family they support.

Our son is curious, affectionate, and full of energy. He loves books, outdoor adventures, and learning new things. We’re looking for a nanny who will engage him through age-appropriate activities, encourage his development, and provide a nurturing, structured environment where he can thrive.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday with the occasional Friday; approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We’re happy to offer some flexibility with start and end times for the right person.

Responsibilities include:

* Providing attentive care throughout the day.
* Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, crafts, reading, and outdoor play.
* Preparing healthy meals and snacks for him.
* Light household tasks related to our son, including cleaning up after meals, tidying toys and play areas, and occasional children’s laundry.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, reliable, communicative, and proactive, with prior toddler experience and excellent references. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. We value open communication, mutual respect, and creating a positive working relationship where our nanny feels like an important part of our family.

If you’re passionate about early childhood development and are looking for a family that will appreciate and respect your experience, we’d love to hear from you!
