A little bit about us
We are looking for a loving nanny to care for our littles while we are commuting into an office some days and working from home others. We are either looking for a full time nanny OR someone who can help mornings and evenings while they attend daycare during the day. We need help with prepping meals, light housework and laundry. While not often, we would like to have a nanny who can extend hours when one of us is traveling for work.
We also have a loving goldendoodle who will not require your care, but will shower you with love while you are at our home.
A bit about the parents -
Mom is a full-time marketer who commutes to the North Bay 3 days per week. She is passionate about growing and leading teams during the day and spending time with family and friends in her free time. She has a special interest in diy hobbies.
Dad is a CPA and plans to work from home most days. He brings a joyful light to any room he is in and loves all-things music.

We've "just" moved (Feb) from Atlanta to San Jose, and are already in love with California. We're an experienced 'Nanny-Family'. In Atlanta, we had a beloved nanny for 5 years for Clark & Hollis. It was evident when we moved that Clark & Hollis were ready for school and/or an academic environment. We're so proud and pleased that both are thriving in Kindergarten and Preschool!
I (Mom) am returning to work; thus,
am currently looking for full-time care for our sweet Faye from now until December 18th, 2018, Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm (possibly until 6pm). Days with Faye consist of making her smile, ensuring a bit of rest, feeding, and diaper changes.
I (Mom) work from home for a tech company specializing in healthcare education, and am flexible and available throughout the day if needed; however, will not be interfering with your time with Faye. In the past, our ATL Nanny and I respected each other's professional boundaries & worked very well together. I'm hoping to replicate that wonderful relationship with a caring, supportive and thoughtful person here in San Jose!

Please drop us a message with any questions or to schedule an interview. We look forward to meeting a wonderful caregiver who will provide the love and support that Mina deserves.
Bonus points if you speak Farsi or Arabic! :)

we live in a small 1 bedroom apartment in San Jose. I, the father, work from home so I just need someone there to keep her company while I have meetings. The expectation is very minimal and straight forward :)
We have a small chihuahua. The nanny would help walk him a short distance as we have a lawn up front.

My partner, Ben, and I live in the Rose Garden with our 10 year old daughter and 18 month old son. Our daughter is completing 4th grade and our son is in daycare. We live far away from our immediate families, so we are looking for a nanny who we can contact when we are in need of some extra help during the week. We are open to a live in nanny. We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, honest, caring, and creative nanny. We look forward to connecting!
Thank you for your time,
Kelsi

This position begins starting November 15, when I return to work. I'd love to bring someone on earlier than that if possible, potentially with fewer hours or days, to build a relationship with our baby before the full-time start — open to discussing what that could look like.
We're looking for someone with newborn experience (bottle feeding, safe handling, soothing), who is CPR certified, a non-smoker, and has a reliable car. We have a friendly Labrador Retriever, so comfort with dogs is a must. Knowledge of sleep training preferred — we used the Moms on Call/Taking Cara Babies method with our last child.
Responsibilities include full care of our newborn during work hours — feeding, changing, naps, and soothing — along with baby-related laundry and dishes. 2 references required (newborn/infant care preferred).
We expect our son will start daycare around 12 months old, so this role would run approximately 9–10 months. That said, we'd love someone reliable and warm who can grow with our family — we'd welcome the chance to have them stay on for occasional babysitting with both kids beyond that point, if it's a good fit for everyone.

I’m looking for someone to come in 2 times a week, from 9 am - 4 pm l, so I can work in my home office. I’d like the time with my daughter to be educational and interactive. Her meals will be easy to manage. And I’ll be home the whole time but need to lock in to the office. I live in Santana Row with two parks in walking distance.

A little bit about us
We practice conscious parenting and positive discipline in our home, focused on building strong connection with our children, helping them develop critical thinking skills and self-confidence alongside impulse control, and instilling a deep sense of safety in the world and in their emotions. We're looking for caregivers who practice disciplinary approaches that are in line with these goals, even if not defined as conscious parenting or positive discipline. Our ideal caregivers have a toolbox of non-punishment-based methods to address inappropriate or unsafe behaviors. We are not requesting housekeeping services, but we do ask that you help and encourage Hoyt to clean up after his playtime, crafts, and meals.
The hours posted are the regular weekly hours we need help right now. We have a few babysitters who currently have the schedule covered between them, and we are looking for backup support in case anyone calls off or has a schedule change. We will also have more shifts available as I start working more hours. If you're interested in supporting us occasionally for now, with potential opportunities for more regular shifts in the future, we'd love to hear from you!
