A little bit about us
Our family values kindness, love, fun, and collaboration. We believe in gentle parenting principles while also setting firm boundaries.
Our son is outgoing, sweet, and lively. He loves space, superheroes, learning, making new friends, enjoys make believe and is a fantastic helper.
Our daughter is an explorer, adventurous, smart, and spunky! She's got a gentle soul and loves to sing and dance.
We are looking for help developing social skills, reaching milestones, and creating a rich and dynamic childhood. Our ideal nanny is kind, energetic, organizes fun activities, and engages kids to achieve learning goals.
We live in West Seattle, close to Lincoln and Alki park. We have a small child-friendly backyard, and 2 cats that like to hide. Both parents work hybrid. (We are here to support but also give autonomy).
Must have a reliable car for this position because kids are at the age to do activities and go on adventures. There is street parking available. Thank you for your time and consideration.

A little bit about us
Hi! So occasionally I need to go out of town and I am looking for someone that could help look after my boys while I'm gone. I have super high standards and as you can see a lot of requirements are checked off, but essentially this would be a pretty laid back and easy job. My kids are older 9.5 & 12, they really don't require much, and are actually pretty self sufficient, but obviously they can't just be left alone while I'm out of town
During the day they attend school and after school programs or summer camp depending on the time of year. As of now they have no weekend activities (sports), but that may change.
I would need someone to help with getting them to their bus stop or school in the AM and picking them from their afterschool care in the PM & making sure they: do chores, eat, do homework, shower, go to bed on time etc. As well as care for them on the weekends.
I'm not really looking to pay hourly, DM me for more info
Please include flat rate quotes with your message (weekly/monthly) & any questions.
SAMPLE Schedule:
Monday - Friday
7:00am wake up
7:45-8am drop off at school or bus stop
|
5:30-5:45pm pick up from community center
6:00pm make sure they eat (no later than 7pm), check homework, chores, read, exercise, free time
8:00 shower time
8:30-8:45 bedtime
Saturday - Sunday
- They need to read for at least 30 minutes and write about it
-They need to make sure all they chores are done
- They pretty much will be free to play video games or on their phone, BUT it would be nice if you planned something (park, basketball, board games, walking etc)
- Last meal by 7pm
- Make sure they shower
To sum it up, your main functions are: provide transportation, make sure they eat & just be a body in the room. They'll do the rest.

Who: 1 year old boy, 3 year old girl, 5.5 year old boy
What: We need someone in the mornings to help get the kids up and ready for school, fed breakfast, and lunches made. My husband leaves for work early in the morning and I typically have morning work calls that can sometimes start at 6am, so I need someone who is okay to arrive early. A plus if you're willing to drive the kids to school - likely one of the days. The kids need to be at school by 9am. The other morning hours when the kids are at school would be filled with some light housework (laundry, kitchen clean up, meal prep, etc.).
We are hoping to find someone who is fluent in Spanish.
We are a laid back and welcoming family to work for. We enjoy getting to know your family/children as well. Looking forward to meeting you!!

Weekdays: We can offer flexibility for someone looking for an adjustable schedule, but we need help 2-3 afternoons a week between Monday and Thursday, every week.
Pay: $25/hr (with first pay increase to $28/hr after the first 6 weeks based on job-well-done) + irs standard mileage rate + 2 weeks paid vacation (based on hours/week), to be paid via proper payroll over-the-table, guaranteed hours.
Primary requirements: 2+ years experience. Preference to someone who can drive our kids in their vehicle with insurance, must have drivers license, safe driving record (no accidents in last 3 years), pass background check, cpr-certified, references preferred
Job duration: we are ready to hire! Looking for someone immediately and through the end of the school year, preference to someone who is looking to stay with us through summer. We will still need your help in the next school year but will be adjusting hours as our youngest levels up into kindergarten (full time school).
During the school year - you will pick up the youngest from preschool at 12:50 then pick up the oldest from elementary school (1:10 on early release days at 2:25 on other days). After school pickups, kids get a snack and just do kid things! No homework yet but they enjoy going to playgrounds or playing at home until dinner. Occasionally they may have scheduled activities that you could take them to if my husband or I are unavailable. The kids will not need to be transported outside of NW Ballard (unless otherwise agreed ahead of time). Minimal cleanup will be required, just picking up after preparing snacks, putting away backpacks/coats/shoes, picking up any toys they play with while you are with them, and folding and putting away their clean laundry (ideally you will get them involved and make sure they put away clothes in their drawers).
