The Job Description:
The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for the child throughout the day. In addition to general care, the nanny will also be responsible for:
• helping to establish the habit of good daytime feeding routines/feeding every three to four hours
• changing diapers, restocking diaper supplies/diaper bag, restocking di-aper changing areas as needed
• facilitating nap time and baby’s sleep/eat/wake schedule
• plan/facilitate play and engaging activities indoors and outdoors, as well as going on walks around the neighborhood
• helping to keep the child’s play areas/toys and room tidied and organized
• child’s laundry
• daily tidying of any spaces used throughout the day
Nanny Attributes/Qualifications:
We would like to partner with a reliable, experienced, and nurturing nanny who has at least seven years of recent, relevant experience caring for infants. We are looking for a nanny who truly enjoys working with children, and who is active, engaging, and patient. The nanny should be a self starter who is an excellent communicator and who is confident in her abilities.
Experience or nanny training, or experience as a doula is ideal.
The nanny should be up to date with vaccinations, and have already received their Covid vaccination(s),and be current with their CPR/First Aid Certification.
