A little bit about us

My husband and I are parents to our sweet 3.5 month old baby girl and are looking for some help! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom but will eventually be going back to work once I feel comfortable enough with our nanny, which will then become a full-time job! We’re looking for someone who will be more of a family assistant than just a nanny and will help with various things we need (laundry, errands, food prep, washing bottles, keeping nursery tidy), but mostly with caring for our little girl. We plan to start traveling soon and will need someone who is able to come along for the ride when given ample notice. Hours are Monday through Thursday around 7-8 am to 3-4 pm, with a 1 hour lunch break (sometimes longer). We may need someone to watch her occasionally on a night or weekend but will give ample notice.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a great nanny for 3 of our 5 children in Panama City. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping, laundry, and feeding the children lunch and snacks that are in the home. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car to get here, who does not smoke, who is willing to drive children on occasion upon request, and who is comfortable with very independent older pets.

A little bit about us

Looking early for someone to help after my baby is born. Due date is Jan 22 if we go to term so start would be end of April. I work in health care and am going to have to go back to work at 3 months. I work 7 on and 7 off. My husband works from 8-5 so hours would be every other week M-F from 7:30-5:30.
I do have a daughter who is 16 and goes to school but she doesn’t need anyone to watch her and won’t be home much while you are in the house. She goes to school early and has stuff to do after school for sports. She does most of the chores when I’m not home. I have 2 dogs. Non smoking house.
Just need child care. Don’t need you to do anything around the house. We are new to this because when my daughter was born my family was around to help us. Price per hour is negotiable.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Panama City, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Panama City, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Panama City, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
