A little bit about us

Hi, looking for a share that's flexible for our interesting family set up. I have shared custody of our two cuties, so only need childcare half the time AND it is on an alternating schedule (MTF on week, then WTh the next week).

I have a one year old that is chillness itself (although a total climbing savant) and a three-almost-four year old that is all energy and heart. Looking for a local nanny and family that would welcome all that energy into their home, and willing to host on days I have the kids.

Responsibilities would include just general childcare, maybe some light tidying up after the kids (but not cleaning), lunch, snacks, park, etc. MAYBE some dinner prep. Once my oldest starts preschool, we can discuss picking him up from there.

Would prefer someone with a car, but not necessary.

No pets in the house, but my mom lives upstairs with her dog who we borrow from time to time.

A little bit about us

My wife and I are looking for a caring nanny and potentially a sharing-family for our 5 month old starting in August. I am a management consultant to state and local governments and my wife is a non-profit manager. We have lived in Chicago for seven years and in Andersonville for the last two.

We are looking for a full-time nanny. We don't have any pets, and only one child. While we are still easing back into post-covid work, we both expect to work from home at least one day per week. We have plenty of space for a couple of kids to play, and also willing to split hosting responsibilities with any potential sharing-family.

A little bit about us

I have a 6 year old who is I. 1st grade at U of C Lab School in Hyde Park (5800 S. Stony Island) and we live 5600 North in Andersonville. This job requires the nanny to have a car and willingness to pick up my daughter from school and stay with her until I get home from work. The hours would be the following:
-Monday and Tuesday pick up from school at 4:30pm and stay until 7:30pm/8:30pm.
-Wednesday and Friday pick up from school at 2:10pm and stay until 7:30pm/8:30pm
-Thursday pick up from school at 5:30pm and stay until 7:30pm/8:30pm.

I will also pay $60 a week in gas for travel cost in addition to the hourly rate.

My daughter is very independent and loves to read, create art projects, conduct science projects, and build robots. I will have meals prepared for her so there will be minimal meal prep. Also, my daughter typically goes to bed between 8:00 and 8:30.
