A little bit about us

Hello there! We are looking for a highly experienced nanny that will come to our home on weekdays from 7am to 8pm. However, our preference is to share a nanny in our home or one nearby in Irving Park. Our baby girl is 11 months old and she is pretty easy to care for. We are looking for (i) a nanny to come to our home; (ii) a family to share said nanny with; or (iii) a family that already has a nanny and is located very near to our home in Irving Park. If we go with options ii or iii we would love to work with a family that wants to raise their children to be citizens of world with a strong interest in learning. Sitter requirements include: CPR trained, light housekeeping (in relation to baby only), physical activities, reading and other educational activities. Stimulating our infant early and strengthening her cognitive skills is very important to us. We will need help for 5 weekdays and Saturday (we can discuss hours) and will need to make a decision in the next couple of days. Please note that references will be called. We look forward to hearing from you! - Ogechi

A little bit about us

My husband and I are due early August with our first baby! We are looking for a dependable full-time nanny to start in October. We also have a 3-year-old golden retriever (Woody) who has the biggest heart and loves to play.

I work from home, so I will be around most of the day, but we live in a single-family home with plenty of space. Ideally, the hours will be 8-4pm M-F or M-TH.

Looking for a Warm, Organized Nanny — One-Month Trial (Potentially Long-Term!)

Hi! We’re a loving, busy family in the Dunning neighborhood with three wonderful kids: a 6-year-old, an almost 4-year-old, and an almost 1-year-old. We’re looking for a caring, reliable nanny to help make our afternoons run more smoothly — starting with a one-month trial and the potential for a long-term role if it’s a great fit!

About the Schedule:
• Start Time: Around 1:30 PM each weekday
• End Time: About 8 PM (approximately 6.5 hours per day, 5 days/week)
• Compensation: $25–$30/hour (open to higher for the right experience and skill set)

Your Afternoon With Us Might Look Like:
• Arriving at our home to tidy up, start a load of laundry, and possibly begin meal prep
• Around 2:15–2:30 PM, pick up our two boys from school using your own reliable car
• Return home, where our mother-in-law may be dropping off our baby girl (almost 1)
• Support us in keeping the boys entertained and engaged — we love when they’re active and creative!
• Help with cooking dinner, folding and putting away clothes, and light household tasks

Who We’re Looking For:
✔️ Someone dependable and loving, who enjoys spending time with young children
✔️ Confident in the kitchen and happy to take charge of meal prep
✔️ Comfortable driving and has a safe, reliable vehicle for school pick-ups
✔️ Preferably has an educational background, or is an experienced caregiver (we’d also love an older woman who enjoys cooking and nurturing a busy household!)

We see this as a true partnership — we’d love to have someone who feels like part of the family, helping us keep our home running smoothly so we can focus on spending quality time with our kids.

Interested?
We’d love to hear from you! Please reach out with a bit about yourself and your experience. We can’t wait to meet you!

A little bit about us

Hello I am looking for some part time household help. I am looking for someone who can primarily take my son to school and pick him up until my partner comes home around 5pm. The days i will need help is Tues-Friday. Since the time brackets are pretty short I am willing to accommodate with time and travel. I would prefer someone who lives less than a mile away (preferably walking distance so it isn't too much of a hassel to get here and it would be worth your while.

A little bit about us

Hi! We're Camille and Alex. We are looking for a nanny to care for our 2-year-old girl and infant boy (dad will go back to work in March/April, when baby boy is 6 months) while mom works at home remotely. Our toddler girl is silly, super sharp, loves to read, pretend play, do arts and crafts, dance, take walks and explore outside. She's a little shy at first but is deeply loving once she gets to know you. Dad is a teacher, so our nanny's work schedule could follow the Chicago Public School's calendar if it works better for them (summers off, spring break, federal/school holidays.) Hours will be from 8:30a-4:30p, Monday - Friday. We live two houses down from grandparents, uncle, aunt, and 2 cousins, so playdates are easy! We live close to our toddler's gym class, library, etc so it's easy to find walkable activities for the week.
