We live in the Apex area (west Cary-side) and generally would need someone from 830-around 430 or 5 (depending on our work schedule this could be flexible based on our call schedules too). We are looking for someone fun, friendly, experienced with a younger 1-2 year old, can engage with her, help her learn, and keep her off screens as much as possible :) We live in a newer community here in Apex linked to the greenway trails for walks! .We also have plenty of room for baby/nanny to relax in the house and play! I’m in search of someone who has A LOT of ENERGY, who is engaging, and who will enjoy their time with our kids. Of course we are looking for someone who is safe, honest, trustworthy. Must be smoke/vape free and absolutely no drugs whatsoever.
We are a traditional Christian family, so someone who is supportive and comfortable with our faith is very important to us.
Outside time is a must for our family and as long as weather permits being outdoors with the kids is important to us. Screen time is very limited, screen time is only for when the 1 year old is being put down to nap.

Our oldest is determined. When she decides to do something she works at it. She likes the outdoors and getting dirty. There normally needs to be a disclaimer to not get wet or muddy(if it matters). She loves water. She has been in year round swim and just feels better after being in the pool. She plays softball and thrives of the the team spirit. She has a tender heart. She loves to read, still plays with her sister, has fish (they all have names), and her friends are one of her top priorities. She is also likes makeup, nails, and hair things. She is definitely figuring out who she wants to be.
COVID and public school have been challenging for our girls, they have had to navigate a lot of social challenges and bullying. They have also had to learn about negative teachers. We really want another adult in their life to positively support them and be a safe space/person. We may homeschool next year and would possibly need more hours for the right person.
