What we are looking for…
We can guarantee 21 hours of care per week, in our home (open to 24 hours per week if nanny would like more hours). Mom works from home, and will be in the home office unless the day brings other plans. Care will consist of feeding/meal prep, changing, 5-hour wake windows with developmentally appropriate activities, walks/nature play, gentle behavior mgmt/building emotional intelligence, down for nap and more. Expectation is that during wake time our son will be engaged with, taught and played with in order to enhance his development. Experience teaching in Montessori or Reggio Emilia settings is preferred.
Household responsibilities would include dishes, toy pick up/reset, wiping down & sanitizing all surfaces; less often would be laundry folding, vacuuming, feeding the dog or other light housework.
Must be comfortable with a medium sized dog who is cute and friendly, but sometimes excited.
Date night, overnight and travel with family would be an extension of the job, as needed.
Requirements (non-negotiable):
- 21+ only
- At least 2 years of nanny experience; early childhood education/similar degree; or has worked in a daycare/childcare setting
- Updated CPR/First Aid/BLS certification
- Non-smoker
- Commute is within 30-40 min
We are willing to provide:

Looking for a nanny to take care of my infant daughter 3 to 4 days a week. I will be working remote so I will be home with you and baby but need the extra hands as I have meetings and sometimes will need to travel in the Charlotte area (maybe 2 days a month but it could be on days my husband has off). Hours would be 8:30-4:30 and we will have everything you need- primarily we need someone to feed/change and put our little girl down for naps. No extra cleaning or chores expected.
