Responsibilities would include picking her up from daycare at noon, helping with lunch preparation or heating up food, and putting her down for her nap. While she naps, we would appreciate help tidying the living room and kitchen.
After she wakes, duties would include giving her a snack and engaging her in age-appropriate activities such as reading, play, arts and crafts, or going to the playground until 5 pm.
Comfort with pets is important, as we have a dog and a cat. We also have two older children in elementary school, but their father or I will handle pick-up after 5 pm, so care would be focused solely on our youngest.

A little bit about us
My 5 year old is energetic, curious, talkative, and loves art projects, science activities, books, and imaginative play. My youngest is a happy toddler who loves exploring, laughing, and discovering the world around him.
Hours are Mondays and Fridays 3-7pm. Our childcare needs vary depending on the day and our family’s schedule. Most often, I’ll need help caring for one or both children while I run errands, spend one on one time with the other child, cook dinner, or tackle household tasks. I’ll usually be home for at least part of the shift, but occasionally I’ll need coverage while I’m out. From time to time, I may also request evening babysitting for a date night.
We’re looking for someone who is nurturing, dependable, engaging, and enjoys actively playing with young children. Experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children is preferred. Someone who is comfortable taking initiative, keeping the boys safe and entertained, and becoming a consistent part of our family’s routine would be a great fit.
