We are looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced nanny for our 4-year-old son in Gurnee.
Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours/week, with the possibility of additional hours. All hours will fall between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
Responsibilities include:
* Picking our son up from school
* Driving him safely to various appointments/activities, including between Gurnee and Vernon Hills
* Caring for him at home and keeping him engaged with age-appropriate activities
* Supporting age-appropriate feeding and encouraging independence
* Following any feeding strategies/routines provided
* Supporting potty training and maintaining his bathroom routine
* Supporting his communication, learning, and development
* Helping maintain his daily routine
Requirements:
* CPR/First Aid certified
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
* Reliable transportation and comfortable driving a child
* Experience caring for preschool-aged children
* Comfortable working with a child who has a speech delay
* Patient, nurturing, dependable, and safety-conscious
* Ideally someone with a background in education, early childhood education, special education, speech/child development, teaching, or a related field
* Looking for a long-term commitment (ideally 6months-1year)
Pay: $23-25/hour, 20-25 hours with potential for additional hours.
