A little bit about us
My name is Mercedes & my husband and I live in the Bucknell neighborhood in Alexandria. We have a 19 month old son and are expecting baby #2 in July 2021. We are looking for a responsible and caring nanny interested in working part time hours that will lead to full time work at the end of July when baby #2 arrives.
Our son loves to go outside to play in our yard. He enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood & spending time in nature. We are looking for someone that is active and has lots of energy & will keep our som engaged in educational activities. He enjoys playing with cars, balls, dinosaurs, puzzles. We have a reading nook in his room and playroom & would like our nanny to read to him often throughout the day. We are looking for someone that will plan fun activities for him such as arts/crafts, sensory games and imaginary play. There are two playgrounds within walking distance of our home. We would like Our caregiver to bring him to the playground for social interaction a few times a week.
We are currently looking for part- time care that will ramp up to full time work this summer once Baby #2 arrives. My husband and I work remotely from home & ideally would like someone to come to our home to watch our son M-Thursday for 5 hours each day. The start/end times are flexible, but Monday/Tuesday and Thursday’s are the days when we need childcare the most. Ideally someone that could work 12-5pm
We need someone that is willing to do light housework around the house, assist with washing/folding our sons clothes, meal prepping for our son, clean/organizing his playroom during his nap times etc.
We have a small Yorkie, so being dog friendly is a must. Speaking a second language is a big plus. Also, having a car with a clean driving record isn’t required but would be a big plus.
Please reach out to me if you are a responsible and loving caregiver looking for part time hours that will ramp up to full time in July.
Thank you!
