- Entertaining with books, singing, go over Spanish flash cards, play time & youtube (optional educational videos 15mins in the morning/afternoon).
- Feeding, burping, checking/changing diapers, putting her to sleep and keeping the baby safe at all times.
- Hold/Sooth the baby she’s affectionate.
- Lite cleaning: like washing of her toys, we have Clorox wipes for common areas or things that get dirty for baby.
- Often you’ll see her cooing, laughing, and playing. She is a very happy, loving and easy baby.
- Ava only cries when she is in pain like gas/dirty diaper, sleeping, hungry, thirsty or frustrated. She likes to cuddle up with her Blanket & enjoys human interaction.
- Please keep track of her feedings, diaper changes and sleep schedule.
Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm

Job Proposal – Newborn & Childcare Position
Position Overview:
A nurturing, reliable, and experienced caregiver who joins the family initially as a night nanny for a newborn, with plans to transition into a daytime nanny role as the baby grows and begins sleeping longer stretches.

Phase 1: Night Nanny (Initial 1–2 Months)
• Schedule: 5 nights per week
• Hours: 8 PM–6 AM or 9 PM–7 AM or 10 PM–8 AM (flexible depending on the baby’s schedule)
• Primary Duties:
• Full nighttime care for the newborn (feeding, changing, soothing, and monitoring sleep)
• Maintaining sleep and feeding logs
• Washing and sterilizing bottles
• Light tidying related to baby’s care
• Compensation: $600 per week (open to negotiation)

Phase 2: Transition to Day Shifts
(Once the newborn is sleeping longer stretches through the night)
Option A – 10-Hour Shifts
• Schedule: 8 AM–6 PM, 5 days per week
• Focus: 4 days of newborn care only + 1 day of joint child care (newborn + older sibling)
• Compensation: $600 per week
Option B – 12-Hour Shifts
• Schedule: 8 AM–8 PM, 5 days per week
• Focus: Newborn care only for 4 days + 1 day of joint child care (newborn + older sibling)
• Compensation: $700 per week

My wife and I both work full-time, so we’d be looking for someone to cover Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (occasionally later, but this would be communicated +48-hours in advance) for May-September, and then reducing to 3-days per week between October-April (when Ronan’s grandparents watch Ronan 2-days per week). We are trying to implement a parenting style that:
- Is firm but loving, and encourage independence within limits
- Use supportive disciplinary methods
- Children may be assertive, self-regulating, cooperative, and socially responsible
In addition, would love if our nanny could plan the occasional outing with Ronan (e.g., zoo, aquarium, museum, etc.) - we would cover incidentals.
We’re ideally looking for a nanny who meets all of the following:
• Minimum of 3 years of post high school childcare experience
• Exemplary childcare references
• Ability to make a 1-2 year commitment to a Family
• High School Diploma (college degree or coursework in child related field preferred)
• Clear Criminal Record
• Valid Driver’s License
• A reliable, insured vehicle
• Strong driving record
• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to complete)
• Non-Smoker
As an FYI, we have two cats - pet-care is not required, but flagging for those who have allergies.
