Family of three looking for a part-time, live-out nanny for our daughter. We are seeking help while my husband and I are working. We do not have pets.
Job specifics:
Days and hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (flexible).
Location: Alexandria, VA (West Alexandria, close to Fairlington and Bailey's Crossroads areas).
Number of children: 1.
Age of child: 8 months at start date.
Transportation: A car is not a must, just reliable transportation to come to work.
Rate: $20-$23/hour, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
Start date: October (flexible if we find the right fit).
Other requirements:
• Fully vaccinated (COVID, Tdap, flu, etc.).
• Experience with infants.
• Capable of going up and down stairs multiple times a day carrying child.
• Non-smoker.
• CPR and first aid certified.
• Need references.
• Willing to consent to a background check.
Primary responsibilities:
Care, safety, and well-being of our infant. This includes feeding her, putting her down for naps, soothing her, diaper changes, reading to her, and playing with her. As she grows and her needs evolve, the regular activities will adjust accordingly. Ideally, you would also perform light housework associated with baby care, such as properly washing bottles and baby food containers/utensils, preparing baby food/milk, putting away toys/books, cleaning up baby-related messes, etc.
