I am looking for someone to pick up my kids from school, bring them home, light house keeping and help with cooking dinner. We have a blended family and at the moment it is mostly drop off/pick up from and to school. But it could be more full time for the right person. I have two teenage sons. I am looking for at least 3 afternoons a week. Roughly 3-4 hours each day.

Full-Time Spanish-Speaking Nanny Needed in La Mesa (M–F, 8am–4pm)

Start Date: August 11th | $20/hr (cash)
2 weeks paid time off December 22–January 2

We’re an happy family in La Mesa looking for an experienced full-time nanny to care for our baby boy, who will be 4.5 months old in August.

We live a healthy, active lifestyle and love cooking, spending time outdoors and enjoying San Diego! I’m Australian and my husband is American

We believe in gentle, responsive parenting with consistent routines, minimal screens, and lots of love. We value open communication, collaboration, and a good sense of humor—because babies are unpredictable, and sometimes the only thing you can do is laugh.

I work from home in an outdoor backyard office, and my husband is mostly out of the house.

We’ve got a very sweet Aussie Doodle and a Ragdoll cat who may try to join story time.

Our son is super chill, eats well, sleeps well, doesn’t cry unless there’s a reason. In August, he’ll be 4.5 months old - just hitting that super fun age where the baby giggles start

We’re seeking a native Spanish speaker who will speak exclusively Spanish with him. We’re not fluent ourselves, but we’re wanting to learn—and we hope to send him to a bilingual school. Language exposure and connection are extremely important to us!

Responsibilities
• Full care for our infant during the day
• Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote language, motor, and social development
• Speak Spanish only with Harland
• Maintain a daily log or send texts with updates
• Light housework during naps:
• Unload dishwasher
• Baby laundry
• Keep nursery tidy
• Occasional meal prep help for us
• As he grows:
• Comfortable driving him to activities (using our car)
• Prepare healthy meals for him

Requirements
• Native Spanish speaker
• CPR certified
• Clean background check
• Strong references from past families
• Infant experience required
• Bonus: enjoys cooking and healthy food prep
