This position is based in Ventura, and the weekly schedule will be 4 full days a week. Start date and weekly schedule has some flexibility. Some hours with just our baby boy, and some hours with both children.

We’re looking for someone who will accompany our little ones in lots of outdoor play, walks to the playground or other fun activities.

We both have flexible schedules and will spend a lot of time with our childcare provider, and we hope that you will share our values of: kindness, acceptance, and honesty.

We also have a dog (a friendly black lab), so will need to be okay with animals.

Responsibilities:
• Implementing and following daily routine, including nap time
• Changing clothes and diapers, including cloth diapers
• Picking up from daycare
• Light meal preparation
• Light housekeeping (Picking up at end of day)
• Picking up from daycare

Requirements:
• Must be comfortable with dogs (We have a very loving Labrador!)
• Must have a car and valid driver’s license (We will provide car seats)
• Must be open to or previously trained in the RIE or Pikler method of childcare
Flexibility while using this approach is needed
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified
• Must have open, transparent and ongoing communication with parents

Need a babysitter/ nanny to help watch kids while mom runs errands or has appointments out for the day. Dad works away from home. Hours would range anywhere from 8a.m. to 5p.m. M-F. Duties would include occasional meal prep for the boys, taking them to a park, or the beach or even just staying in. 2 year old has a safety zone in the front room so he's easily entertained for short periods when attention is needed to the other two, or running to answer the call of nature 😀. Also the occasional dog feeding. We have a female dogo argentino, diamond. She's a sweet heart. Pay decided upon accepted agreement.
