A little bit about us

Hi all! I was here a few months ago posting for a Nanny position. Our latest nanny has to move on as well. So without further ado:

Family looking for nanny
PART TIME/FULL TIME: full time
DAYS AND HOURS: M-F, 9:30-5:30
LOCATION: Del Ray, Alexandria
NUMBER OF KIDS: 1
AGES OF KIDS: 2 years old
RATE (please put at least the range min/max): $20-24/hr, negotiable
NEED A DRIVER? Nothing really requires a car in the neighborhood
MUST HAVE A CAR? We live by metro, so not required unless needed for your own convenience
START DATE: ASAP
REFERENCES: Yes, must have two or more
PET FRIENDLY: Yes, we have a Golden Retriever puppy (our previous Golden recently passed and we are still heartbroken)

Our daughter turned two in February and is currently potty training, going to the local parks (weather permitting) and attending story time sometimes at the library.
Requirements would be to do these activities depending on the day, feed her lunch, change diapers, & put her down / monitor her for her 2-3 hour-long nap, plus snack times in between and playtime — like reading, drawing, playing with toys, etc. — pre & post nap.

Requirements for nanny: CPR certified, non-smoker, vaccinated, fluent in English (dual Ukrainian or Polish speaking also welcome), and clean driving record. Multiple references required.

***Must be attentive, playful, and engaging with our child who is learning fast!***

About us: Mom and dad go to work, some days either parent is at home depending on schedule but not more than 2x a week. Also have a Golden Retriever puppy that would need to be let out in the yard 2-3x in the afternoons.

About the neighborhood: Quiet, peaceful, lots of families. Single family row houses in our area with permit parking spots and free parking on adjacent streets. Neighborhood playground open year round. Restaurants and some activities to do for kids walkable distance from home.

A little bit about us

We are seeking a part-time nanny for our 1 year old daughter. She loves to read books, go for walks and play. She loves to dance and listen to music.

We need someone with experience working with toddlers Monday to Friday in the afternoon. We work a hybrid schedule (some days we are in an office at meetings and other days we work from home.) We are flexible on start/end hours. We may ask, with advance notice, to stay longer for a date night or occasional Sunday afternoon help. But we will work with your schedule.

A little bit about us

One baby boy. I work from home most days, but have to be out of the house sometimes and my husband works in DC. We have one dog. Care would include changing diapers, putting him down for naps, developmentally appropriate activities during his wake windows, taking him for walks, etc. This would change as he grows and starts to eat solid foods, starts to crawl and learn to walk, etc.

We are looking for 2 days a week (flexible on which days but prefer two in a row). We are flexible on the time of day. Typically we need Care from around 10 AM to 5 PM but we could also be flexible on this.
