Hiring Reliable Nanny for Two Independent Kiddos (Ages 6 & 8) – Long-Term Position

Hi! I’m a single mom looking for a dependable, caring, and responsible nanny to help with my two kids (ages 6 and 8). I work full-time, sometimes into the late night hours, and I need someone who can support not just my kids—but also help keep the household running smoothly while I’m away.

Main Responsibilities:
• Morning routine and occasional school drop-off
• After-school pick-up
• Homework help, study time, dinner, and bath time
• Keeping the house tidy while the kids are asleep or winding down
• Being reliable, attentive, and proactive with the kids

Schedule & Flexibility:
• Mainly needed on my work days
• On some of my off days—like if I have training, errands, a date night, or a planned trip—I may ask if you’re available. You’re not required to accept, but if you’re able to help, you’ll be paid extra on top of the regular rate. We’ll always discuss those days in advance.

Pay:
• Base rate is $600 biweekly
• Extra compensation for any added days or events outside of our regular schedule

The kids are sweet and fairly independent. I’m looking for someone who takes their job seriously—who will treat my kids with care and keep the home in order, even when I’m not around. If you’re present, hands-on, and treat the role with respect, I’d love to connect.

Please message me if you’re interested and have experience with great references!

A little bit about us

I have 2 children, a 8 month old and a 2 year old. Both are girls. I work 12 hour overnight shifts 3 days a week and we do have family babysitters but we would like to hire an extra hand when they need a break. Since I work overnight, the only extra duties that I actually would require is to make sure my 2 year old is fed, bathed and in bed by 11pm. She is very independent so she does her own thing majority of the time. She is not potty trained yet so she does have to be sat on the potty from time to time and she has to be changed as well. My 8 month old still drinks 5-6 oz of formula every 2-3 hours and sometimes fed baby food, she would need a bath at night as well sometimes but that’s usually it for her. I work from 7pm-7:30 tuesday-thursday and every other saturday and sunday. If you are interested please contact me at my cell [phone number hidden]

A little bit about us

I have 3 small ones. 6, 3, and 2. I work from home but also travel for work. My husband works every four days on 12 hour shifts. I need someone who is very flexible and dependable. The days and times may vary. Has their own vehicle. CPR and first aid qualified. Someone who can pick-up my oldest from the bus stop after school and help with homework, when I or my husband cannot. I will also need help with breakfast, lunch and snacks on some days. Some cleaning is asked of you. We encourage our children to clean up after themselves, but it isn’t as clean as we would like. The sitter would be focusing mainly on my younger two. We love for our children to learn so if you have any learning tools or ideas please bring them.
