Our boys are amazing, brilliant, smart, stubborn, willful, perfectly well adapted kids. They love playing outside, riding bikes, playing soccer, basketball, arts and crafts, playing Catan, chess, bird bingo, building, hide and seek, reading fact books, silly story books, and learning.
We believe in being direct, setting boundaries that are firm and clear with loving kindness, soft positivity, teaching independence and thinking but knowing when there needs to be an adult making the decision vs "child led". We need you to promote our parenting choices and guidelines for our kids vs inserting your own.
Our perfect person knows their number one job is to keep our kids safe and loved and to show up as the adult. We LOVE all the extras (loving to play with them, teaching, art, and all those things), but safety, love, and adult intelligence are table stakes.
We're originally from NYC but are here in Hendo to stay. If this sounds like a family you might want to be a long term part of, hit us up. But if this doesn't sound like your speed or beliefs, we wish you the best of luck with another family. ☮️❤️🤘

A little bit about us
My name is Allison and I have an almost-2-year-old son named John. He is very sweet, as far as people have told me he never fusses under their care… only when I arrive, he starts testing mommy a little, of course!
I am a young mom going to school at Fruitland Baptist Bible College. Classes run from 7:45am-9:45am and 11am-1pm Tues-Fri. Depending on my schedule I may be at school for one or both time slots. My husband works third shift and can sometimes help but not always, so ideally we can find a situation where communication is open and plans can be changed relatively short-notice.
I am happy to pick up and drop off. We can coordinate any logistical details once we confirm it will be a good fit- I’m flexible!
I’m looking forward to meeting you!
