We are looking for a long-term nanny for our energetic 3-year-old energetic son. My husband and I are local business owners and need someone who can pick up our son 3 days a week from his preschool in Monkey Junction. We live near Carolina Beach so you must be comfortable with that commute. Hours would be approximately 11:45-5 pm and days of the week are flexible.
Looking for someone who is extremely reliable and trustworthy.
Our current nanny, who has been with us for almost 2.5 years, has accepted a full-time job so we will be needing someone in January of 2025.
Would prefer to find someone who lives here year round so they can help out during the summer and around holidays as well when he is out of school.
Happy to provide references. Please let me know if you are interested!

A little bit about us
We are both home most of the day, but we are looking to free up some time particularly mid day so Jo can get food in (she's on a special meal program) and do some cancer therapies as well as just rest.
Days and times are fairly flexible, but we are aiming to be pretty consistent with about 4 hours per day most (maybe all, still need to talk) work days of the week.
One important note is that with a genetic predisposition to cancer and some extra sensitivities after pregnancy and chemo, we are extra careful of detergents, shampoos, cleaning supplies, etc.
We've changed over everything to special very safe products and we would ask any candidate to avoid perfumed items, lotions, etc. and to wash their clothes in the safe detergents (which we are happy to provide).
We are also keeping mom and baby away from EMF sources including cell phones. Many thanks!
