A little bit about us

We are a family of 5, with a sweet dog. We are looking for a professional experienced nanny. We have a 3,5 and 8 year old. I am a STHM mostly looking for support managing all the moving parts. Your role will include anything from keeping up with the kids(sometimes one or two, rarely all three), to helping cook a meal or folding laundry. Our family spends lots of time in our backyard, taking walks and trying to adventure out on hikes and playgrounds. and we would love a companion for other summer adventures. Must be comfortable working side by side with mom and/or therapists sometimes. Our 5 year old is autistic and requires patience and an attitude to be willing to learn what best supports her. We need someone that understands that life looks a little different with her/us. Flexibility, creativity and bringing the fun go a long way with her and we need you to be that right fit that can bring that. If you are a person that has been described as a self starter, that takes initiative to be helpful, this might be a good fit. Experience with special needs would be a bonus but if you feel like you are someone that would be an amazing fit please feel free to reach out.

Schedule: Looking for about 10-15 hours/week spread across 2-3 days a week, depending on your preferences. We are fairly flexible on timing but schedule reflects some proposed ideal times. Being up for some odd weekend hours and overnights would be a bonus.

Having been a nanny/teacher this position comes with major respect in our house and pay is based upon experience and what you can bring to our family. We will pay weekly in cash(Zelle, Venmo). If you sound like the right fit for our family please reach out! Also, must love dogs, as we have a lab that thinks she is the fourth child.

A little bit about us

Need a babysitter on the weekends during the day and potentially some nighttime dates. You have to feel comfortable putting them down to bed and nap time as well as changing diapers and helping use the potty.

I have two little girls, a 3.5 year old and a two year old. They are just the sweetest. The two year old does like to be mischievous and take risks, so you have to be on top of that. The older one loves to play pretend and arts and crafts.

Our house is fully equipped to have the ultimate fun: a climbing wall, big backyard, mud pit, art and crafts, and indoor toys.

We also have a dog, you might have to let the dog out to go to the bathroom in the back yard. We also try and keep their toys picked up as much as possible. It’s pretty organized which makes it simple to pick up.

A little bit about us

Hello!

We are seeking someone with a flexible, adaptable, kind demeanor who is skilled at relationship building, relating to children, and household tasks.

Our ideal candidate has experience with children who are neurodiverse, utilizes communication that is emotionally focused, and is a capable home cook.

Our ideal candidate would be available for potential grocery shopping, meal prep, and / or actual preparation of a meal / cooking. (We are looking for basics here: chicken and rice w/ kale. Mashed potatoes with hamburgers & cut up fresh veggies). Meals that are pretty simple, but "whole." We avoid gluten and corn, and most cow dairy (youngest gets eczema - NOT Celiac).

Meal prep / shopping could potentially happen prior to pickup on any work day. For example, 2:45 pm - 3:00 pm is the pickup window for my seven-year old. So perhaps you could grocery shop from 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm, prior to the afterschool pickup. (This aspect is flexible - I'm open to your ideas).

Pickups:
Afterschool pickups happen first in Fairview between 2:45 pm 3:00 pm, and then again in West Asheville between 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm.

We have a dog and a cat in our home. We are non-smokers and will give preference to other non-smokers. We also avoid heavy / synthetic fragrances. We do not have a TV and are not very "device" oriented.

I am a single parent, and am seeking support that feels easeful and responsive. Your self-motivation and emotional attunement are important. Your ability to "pick up" where I've left off is critical (i.e. help if you see something that you can help with: Full trash can? Take out the trash ... kind of a thing.) I also understand that getting to know a family takes time, and am not expecting you to know everything about us right out of the gate ... But the attitude of helpfulness is really important.

Our ideal candidate is adaptable, creative, and focused on regulated nervous systems (Yours and those of my children).

Pay range is between $20 - $30 / hour

A little bit about us

Hi! Our family is moving to Asheville for a job and looking for a new full-time nanny for our 1.5 year old, Isla. Isla has a contagious smile and loves to laugh and listen to 'the wheels on the bus'. She's on one nap per day. The nanny role would be for Monday to Friday, ~8:30am to 5:30pm and based out of our home in Asheville. Our temporary home is in the Kenilworth neighborhood and we will look for a permanent place within 10 min of downtown. Having a car and/or speaking Spanish would be a plus, but not required.
