A little bit about us…

Hello, I’m Jaquelin! I’m looking for a long term nanny to help care for my twins Ziggy and Zola. I’m looking for someone energetic, nurturing, attentive, and passionate about children. We prefer someone who is at least bilingual because we desire our children to learn another language.

Our twins(boy-girl), Ziggy and Zola, are 10 months. They are very easy to care for with their little adorable faces. They love to eat and can be very needy, so patience is a must. I’d love for us to chat soon, so reach out! Ta ta

We have no pets and are not pet friendly due to allergies

A little bit about us…

Hello, my name is Teria Lovely. My husband and I have a 9 month old daughter. Her name is Noelani. Noe is a very intuitive little soul and she is primarily a really happy baby.

She is currently crawling around (very fast). & into everything. Trying to walk but not there just yet. She is combo feeding and taking in solids very well. Mostly everything we give her is prepared ourselves besides the snacks.

I would be wanting assistance with someone to care take for her while I am studying. Typically you would only work 2-4 days out of the week. I’m actively in class one day out of the week for a few hours.

I am looking for a sitter that is reliable, honest, really great with kids growth and development and kind. Also I am looking for someone that is flexible for last minute sitting. I would like for her to learn Spanish as well someone fluent in Spanish. Looking for someone with certification such as CPR, first aide etc

Your main responsibilities would be basic caring such as Feeding, change diapers, being attentive, naps, do grocery shopping, cook and help her with educational growth.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in San Diego, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in San Diego, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in San Diego, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
