Looking to share a nanny in January 2020 with my will be 4 month old son. I live in Marin but commute to Walnut Creek for work so thought it would Make sense to find someone in the area. Looking for someone to share Monday-Friday. Would love to find a place that can host. Thanks.

We are first time parents looking for a nanny and family to nanny share with beginning in January 2021. Our son will be 7 months old by then and we would like to share with a family who has a little one that is +\- 3 months in age. We would like to be the host family 50% of the time, but would also be okay to host 100% of the time. Hourly needs will be flexible, but typically Monday-Friday 8am-6pm (if we are still working from home in January then we would likely start and end the day an hour later/earlier).

We strictly practice all mask and social distancing mandates and would like for both our nanny and nanny share family to do the same! We are a non-smoking family with no pets and would prefer to share with a similar household.

My husband and I are hoping to find a nanny/nanny share family starting in early November for our son, who will be 4 months old. (Start date for the other family is flexible) We live in Walnut Creek but willing to share in surrounding cities of Pleasant Hill, Alamo and Danville. We are both working remotely until at least January. We have a townhouse and are looking to host part-time with a similarly aged child.
We would be looking for a nanny share Monday to Thursday (occasionally Fridays) 9-4pm, approximately 30-35 hours a week.
We take COVID very seriously and abide by all mask regulations and social distancing when we leave the house. We’d be looking for a family and nanny practicing similar safety regulations during these unprecedented times. (Unprecedented being the word of the year!)

We moved from San Francisco in June to Walnut Creek and just had our first in October. We love spending time with friends, being outdoors and traveling (pre-baby). Our daughter is 3 months old now and will need care full time beginning in August when she will be 10 months old. We're looking for a nanny share.

This is our first baby about 3 months old. Her name is Isabel. We are looking for a part time nanny during the afternoon to help with baby’s needs and assist with bottle cleaning chores and baby’s laundry as needed. If the weather permits we enjoy taking walks to the park. Must be comfortable with dogs as we have a friendly golden doodle named Ginger. Common language spoken in the household is English However my wife speaks Hmong and understand some Tagalog.

My baby, Nikola, was born end of May and is usually a very sweet child who loves to observe everything around and "talk". My husband and I are looking for someone to look after him from 8AM to 5PM Monday to Friday. We have a very busy lifestyle and work in San Francisco so we're looking for someone we can trust to take care of the most precious person in our lives. We don't require any special skills but would love someone who knows CPR and Elimination communication.

Nanny posting

Hello ! Looking for a full time nanny for my 4 month old daughter in Walnut Creek !!

Hours would be 730 to anywhere between 530 and 730 in evening. Generally I have Wednesday’s off . My 2 yo is in daycare but may need some help with drop off and pick up, though my husband often helps with that . The care provider can still have 1:1 in evening hours when my toddler gets back from daycare because my husband is available to tag team. We are a very nice family, easy to work with and very helpful !

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Walnut Creek, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Walnut Creek, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Walnut Creek, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
