A little bit about us

Updated: restarting my search, again… Tristan is 1.5 (20 months); my husband and I work from home, but he does need to come and go frequently throughout the day so I need someone dedicated to watch Tristan while I work. We’re in a 2 bedroom apartment, it does mean it’s a bit of a squeeze but Tristan has his own room for naps and playtime. We’re still transitioning him from bottle to solids, so he takes both, I try to prep his food in advance and all homemade, requires re heating and minimal prep. Prefer someone with experience working with kids on milestones. No smoking. We do have cameras in the apt FYI; we also have a Boxer, very friendly, very lazy, no need to walk him etc. Minimal screen time, no iPads, nature docs on tv ok. Really I just need someone to hang out and party with Tristan during my work days, but I do like to take breaks and hang out with him and play when I’m able also. Potentially one or two evenings a month and a full day on a weekend occasionally would be amazing to allow my husband and I to go out. It would be advance notice and after Tristan is very comfortable being with you. Happy to answer any questions. If you speak Polish even better, husbands Polish. All other languages welcome, want to teach Tristan? Go nuts. Female preferred, as Tristan is in a mommy phase. He goes down for his nap pretty easily, sleeps well, eats well.

A little bit about us

I am currently pregnant and due any day now (Due July 23rd). I am planning on going back to work in mid February, so I would need a nanny by the time he is around 6 months. I have a neighbor who is having a baby a week after me and we are curious about rates to share a nanny. We literally live across the street and our babies will be the same age.

A little bit about us

I’m a stay at home mother who needs a little bit of extra help. Looking for someone trustworthy , patient , kind , and overall makes me feel comfortable . I’m very protective over my kids and have never let anyone watch them , so I would like to have that reassurance and comfort knowing my kids are in good hands . My son is attached to my hip, so it’s quite a bit hard to get household things done or just some time to relax. My daughter is pretty independent, however I’d like some educational activities (hands on) for her to be able to do thorough out the day. I would also like help on potty training her.

A little bit about us

We are in need of a full time nanny starting mid-late December for our baby girl. She will be almost 4 months by then. I am a pharmacist at a local hospital and will have to go back to work. My husband works from home. Needs/responsibilities would include: -taking care of baby (feeding, playing, putting down for naps, taking for walks) -light housework not necessary but would like to help take care of what is related to baby (laundry as needed, washing bottles, baby dishes, tidying baby room after playing). -given COVID, would like to have someone practicing general social distancing in everyday life along with other COVID precautions (ex: would prefer working with one family) -up to date on vaccines, CPR trained (aware may not be up to date given COVID) -no transportation for baby needed. We live in a very walkable area -multi lingual preferred (I speak Russian) but by no means a must Looking forward to meeting and talking to you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in West Hollywood, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in West Hollywood, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in West Hollywood, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
