A little bit about us…
We are so very excited to welcome you into our family. We are a family of five - Cynthia (mom), Aditya (dad), Nina (passed away), Ari (2.5 years old), and Ayla (10 months old). We also have a small dog Chloe. Nina is our first baby. She was born in 2020 but unfortunately she passed away unexpectatly when she was born. We are very proud to be her parents even if she is no longer here with us. She was perfect and will always be our first born. Ari was born in 2021 and became a bright light in the end of a very dark tunnel. Ari is our toddler and is truly a sweetheart - he loves to smile and to give big hugs. He is a very active boy, he loves going to the park and playing in the swing, slide, and sand. Ayla is the youngest and came to us as a big surprise. She is full of personality and has a smile that will melt your heart. She loves to go to the park and watch her big brother run around.

We are looking for a wonderful, long term, full time nanny to work Monday through Friday, 40hrs a week. The schedule will be like 8AM to 4PM. We will provide you a vehicle to drive during work hours.

The duties would include:
- Help with feeding Ayla (bottle and solids) as well as Ari.
- Diapering
- Putting Ayla down for naps (she sleeps independently)
- Taking both kids to the park everyday
- Washing baby’s bottles and dishes
- Keeping play area tidy
- Kids laundry
- Making meals for the kids
- Driving Ari to and from school

Our family expectation:
First and foremost that you love and care for them like they are your own. We expect that you keep them safe at all times. We look for someone who is CPR certified, who is up to date on vaccines, who is a non-smoker, who has had great work experience with these ages, who is comfortable around small dog, who will not be on their phone during work hours and will dedicate their work time to caring and loving them. In return we will have you as a member of our family.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Irvine, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Irvine, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Irvine, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
