A little bit about us

I am looking for a nanny for Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm for my 7th month old baby boy. My daughter Nova age 4 attends preK one block away and you would need to take a nice stroll to get her at 2:15pm. I work from home but see clients back to back so you won’t see me too much! Some weeks my schedule is full and sometimes it’s more flexible so you may get off early some days! We do not have any pets, and no driving is required, just the ability to walk 1-2blocks. Both children are meeting all milestones and happy, Nova is potty trained.

A little bit about us

Hi all,
we are parents of a two month old baby boy and we are both working. Looking for a nanny that we can hire on a shared basis (preferably with another family). We would prefer someone close to our place so that we can drop in/off conveniently.
Will appreciate any lead on this.
Thanks

Customer service orientated jobs, currently applying for positions now. We have two children, one is already enrolled in daycare, the other one is too young to get accepted in the same locations as the older one.

A little bit about us

Dottie is a happy baby who loves to dance and giggle at anything and everybody. We have 4 bulldogs that do not need care, but dog lovers may enjoy our house more than others.

We need help for about 5 hours per day, generally in the middle of the day. We can be somewhat flexible since we both have a hybrid work-from-home model with our employers. We'd be happy to host another child in our home or split time between homes.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in San Diego, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in San Diego, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in San Diego, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
