A little bit about us

I am seeking a part time nanny for my infant son Raiden. I work from home and am nursing so I primarily need a second set of hands during my work meetings and 1-2 hours of focused work. Ideally I would like someone to help care for Raiden and complete some light house work like washing dishes, washing/folding laundry, vacuuming and meal prep.
Days needed are Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30a-3:00p.
I have two small dogs so ideally I would like a nanny that is comfortable with pets.

A little bit about us

Hello! I am looking for a nanny to help 3-4 days a week for roughly 8-10 hours per day. My schedule varies as I work hospital shifts, so nanny will need to be okay with flexible days. We require infant CPR training and experience caring for babies under 6 months old. We are looking for a nanny to start around July 7th when I go back to work. We have 2 pets - goldendoodles that are very well behaved, but will ask that they be let outside into the yard a few times a day. Help with other household tasks is a plus! Our baby, Brooks, will be about 3 months old in July. We are looking for someone who cares deeply for him and will help him navigate life/ build skills while we are not able to be home with him.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a great babysitter for 2 children. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping and homework help. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car and who is CPR certified. Our oldest is 6yr old and our infant is 7 months old. Caregiver would primarily be with the baby during the day and once oldest is out of school, do school pick up & possibly take to sports. Currently looking for about 30 hours a week 9AM-4:30 p.m. but may be needing evenings or occasional weekend for date nights. Husband is a police officer so schedule may change every couple of months. We would really love someone with good values & will support a wholesome environment for our kiddos. We are ok with someone who does school work while caring for our little one since he naps often

A little bit about us

We are a fun-loving family in search of a reliable, long-term Nanny with experience handling two small children simultaneously. We have a sweet and active 18-month-old and a 12-week-old.

Location: Rancho Penasquitos; Live-out
Rate: $23/hr; Full-Time
The general schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30, but we are hoping for someone who has flexibility with schedule as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

- Loving, warm, energetic and patient personality
- Engage with the babies and encourage development through activities, reading, walks, music, etc. We are looking for someone who will not be on their phone during work hours or turn to screen time to entertain them regularly
- Light housekeeping and work with House Manager on daily household tasks, as the kids' schedule allows throughout the week; dishes, vacuuming, kids' laundry, tidying nursery/playroom, helping with baby/toddler meal prep, etc. Grandma comes every day to help with the kids and separate deep cleaner will come 1x/a week, so there is plenty of time for these tasks
- Reliability and timeliness are extremely important, as we are both business owners and have busy schedules. If you have things that pop up unexpectedly often or need time off consistently, this is probably not the right fit for you
- Must have a clean record and reliable transportation
- Must have professional references
- Non-Smoker

Please send an email to [email hidden] with an outline of experience, availability, and contact information

Thank you!

A little bit about us

Our family needs childcare part-time anywhere from 4-12 hours a week depending on the right fit. Flexible schedule on days for the right fit. Perfect for college student or retired professional. Job would entail watching more than likely just one child at a time and spending most of the time outdoors if it's with the 3 year old (we live close to parks, libraries and shopping centers) and spending time indoors/outdoors with the 8-month-old. Must be okay with parents potentially home part of the time (husband works from home occasionally and maybe watching one of the kids while you take the other). Both kids are well-behaved. Our family is very outdoorsy and athletic so we are looking for someone that can keep up with the little ones!

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays, possibly Wednesdays too; flexible schedule preferred
Hours: Flexible, 8am-3pm most days
Pay: $20+/hour DOE; holidays off, guaranteed number of hours each week

What were looking for:
- Experienced, warm, loving, reliable personality
- Non-smoker
- Fully vaccinated & Up to Date (COVID / Flu included)
- Reliable transportation
- CPR/first-aid certified welcome, but not required
- Comfortable with a friendly dog, medium sized

About Us:
Dad works from home, Mom returning to office in August and seeking someone to help during working hours. Dad works on a mostly East coast schedule so mornings are the most critical, but he's around and available for questions and assistance. We’re looking to find someone who can fit in with our family, and be a standard presence in Ezra's routine.

Ezra is friendly and active, he's awake and engaged most of the day with periodic, short naps. While he is awake we need someone to entertain him by playing with, reading to, & talking to him.

Cleaning: Keeping baby, toys, changing table and crib clean. We will handle laundry, etc. though may ask to move baby's things from washer to dryer.

Animals: One dog. She will likely spend the day in the office with dad, but likes to keep tabs on baby through the day.

We’re looking to find someone within the next few weeks to start around August 9th. We have a little flexibility, and can discuss start dates and hours. Thanks!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in San Diego, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in San Diego, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in San Diego, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
