A little bit about us

We’re a busy family of five in the Los Feliz area, plus our adorable Goldendoodle, Stevie! We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive Family Assistant/Mother’s Helper to help keep our weekday afternoons and evenings running smoothly.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:30 PM–7:00/8:00 PM, with occasional opportunities to stay later for babysitting.

We have three boys, ages 9, 11, and 14. Our teenager attends school in a different area and primarily stays with his grandparents, so the role will mostly involve our 9- and 11-year-olds.

The main focus is grocery shopping, meal planning/prep, and making dinner, along with school pickup and helping with the kids’ afternoon routine.

Responsibilities include:

* Grocery shopping and keeping track of household food needs
* Meal prep and making family dinners
* School pickup and occasional activities
* Homework help (elementary & middle school)
* Keeping the kitchen/meal-prep areas tidy
* Light household tasks that keep the afternoon running smoothly
* Helping the kids stay organized
* Occasionally letting Stevie out or taking her for a walk
* Occasional evening babysitting

Mom owns her own business and works primarily from home but is frequently in and out. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative and help manage the afternoon flow of the household without needing constant direction.

The ideal person is dependable, organized, proactive, enjoys cooking and school-aged kids, and is comfortable with dogs.

A reliable car, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record are required.

We’d love to find someone who can become a consistent, trusted part of our family’s routine
