A little bit about us

Finley is a happy, easy 10 month old! He loves his schedule, goes down for naps easily, loves playing inside and out with water, toys, and books, and loves eating easy foods we’ll prep for easy serving. Happy to nanny share in our home or close by. He’s crawling and pulling up to stand but not yet walking. We need someone most weeks 12-15 hours, and some weeks up to 30 when mom travels for work. Dad works from home part time, but is on calls most of the day. He’s available for quick questions, quick help, or any emergencies when he’s home. Mom works 15minutes away and is easily reachable. Hoping for someone experienced in caring for babies his age, who wants to interact, play, and encourage learning and growing. Must be kind, gentle, calm, and compassionate. We have one cat who mostly sleeps in Dad’s office. Set hours/days are Tues and Thursday 2-6, one additional day that is somewhat flexible with both day and time, but around 4-5 hours also. Would be wonderful if you’re willing to pick up extra hours on weeks mom travels, willing and able to do 7-4 during the weekdays when mom is out of town (about once a month). No other duties outside of cleaning up after Finley and keeping all of his things clean and safe, and keeping him clean and safe! Additional work like light housekeeping could be discussed if you’re interested in that.

A little bit about us

We are looking to share our home with a flexible person who can help us 35+ hrs per week with our kids and household tasks. We will provide room and board, including a private furnished bedroom, including TV/internet, and private bathroom, basic toiletries, and food for home meals. We can further discuss schedule with potential candidates. We are a family of 4, myself, husband, 18 month girl, and 5 yr old girl. We want you to feel at home, while helping us with hrs between household needs and caring for our children. We need help on weekday mornings, to help us all get out the door to work/school, followed by 4 evening shifts per week, and some overnights when we are out of town. We have some flexibility on which day/s you would like off. The start date is in May due to our current live-in help, our Au Pair, who leaves for college during the week of May 22. Training can start sooner!
