A little bit about us

Sanctuary Church is looking for someone who can be a supporting help to our primary kids’ teacher on Sunday mornings from 10am - 12pm. We currently combine kids of all ages from 1-12 years old in one room with about 10-12 kids each week. Our main kids’ teacher leads the kids through a Bible lesson and activities. We are looking for someone who can provide additional support playing primarily with the younger children under 5 years old, passing out snacks, tidying the room, etc. This person must be warm and welcoming, have experience with multiple ages, take initiative involving kids in play, be comfortable with helping kids transition away from parents (especially for those coming for the first time or who may be struggling with separation anxiety), and ideally be CPR certified. Our church is located in a residential area with free street parking close to Hwy 101 in the Portola neighborhood of San Francisco at 2555 San Bruno Ave.
