My husband and I are first time parents and are so excited for the arrival for our boy in September. We are looking for a nanny who is bilingual in Spanish to help ensure we continue his exposure to speaking and understanding Spanish consistent. I will have maternity leave for about 3/4 months so we are hoping to begin introducing him to his care around 2 months or so.
We are open to seeing what options the nanny has available for his care - safety and the health of his exposure to things are a big priority to us.
We look forward to speaking with those interested in helping care for our boy!

A little bit about us
We have a 1yr daughter, Morgan, and are expecting our second child this July. Thus, we are looking for someone to start September/October when I go back to work.
Morgan is a very outgoing, happy child. She loves to laugh, dance, and meeting new people. On walks, she is constantly waving at everyone that we pass. Her favorite artists are Aretha Franklin and Ariana Grande. Morgan is close to walking but confidently climbs stairs and is constantly on the move.
Flexibility is very important to us, especially when Brian is on travel. Typical schedule will be normal working hours (8-5), but we are flexible with this. Also, a plus would be someone who could work until 6:30 on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays so that we may attend a yoga class at our gym. Our nanny should be able to climb a flight of stairs and also be comfortable with dogs (we have a small very friendly dog).
Our family leads an active lifestyle. Brian and I run long distance races; we love to go hiking/camping; and can often be found in out in VA winecountry. We also travel both domestically as well as internationally.
We also have a second home in Hilton Head, SC that is walking distance to the beach. Although not a requirement, a plus would be someone who is able to, on occasion, travel with us there in a work/vacation capacity.

Our previous nanny has said we are the best family she's ever worked for, but unfortunately she changed her career and we are sad to lose her!
The most important thing to us is our child’s emotional development. We are looking for somebody who understands even a baby is a person and to allow our child to express her emotions in a healthy and expanding way.
