A little bit about us

Hi we need a nanny for two daughters under 2 years old in a nice remodeled top floor two story condo in Culver City. It feels safe and like luxury inside the walls of this quiet and beautifully landscaped HOA with a security gate. We need help taking care of our girls and light cleaning like dishes, laundry, etc. We are targeting 16 hours a week and around 4 hours per day. You can pick a time before or after our toddler's nap (either 8am-ish to 12pm-ish or 3pm-ish to 7pm-ish) three weekdays and one optional weekend. Let me know if my wife can video chat you over the phone to interview you before you come over. Thanks.

A little bit about us

Hello! I am looking for a nanny for my nephew who is the sweetest little chunk but has many medical needs and complications. I need someone that will take initiative and has experience with medically compromised children. I am looking for someone that will care for him deeply and help with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other daily needs. This would be a great job for someone who is getting their career in nursing, child development, or other related fields.

A little bit about us

Hi! My name is Jamie and I'm married with an amazing baby girl who was born in September '21 and the best pup, Pablo, who will be 6 in April '22. We live in Culver City and are looking for part-time care right now for our baby. My husband works full-time. I am currently not working but will be returning to work in the future so our needs may expand to full-time at some point.

We are looking for someone to care for, engage and play with our daughter as she grows, as well as help with some light needs around the house like the baby’s laundry and tidying up, plus some minimal help with our dog (occasional short walks).

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Culver City, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Culver City, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Culver City, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
