We are looking for someone who can help me with the transition back to work. At least 2x week 9-5 approx starting Jan 2020. My little one is 7 months as of End of Dec. He still bfeeds and doesn’t really take the bottle. Spills the sippy cup so he only does water right now. Helping with his food prep on some days & doing his laundry and dishes as needed. We have an extra bedroom so live in option is a possibility. We have no pets. We want someone who will give him undivided attention and love him like their own. Our nanny should respect our parenting “rules” yet we are open to alternative ways in the best interest of our child.

Hi there!

We are recent East Bay transplants who just had our first baby boy in November! We both work full time in SF, and are looking either for a full time nanny during the week- or a nanny share in the East Bay area.

We have two small extremely friendly dogs, and a lovely townhouse apartment so we are happy to host if necessary.

If you are a family looking for a share, or a nanny looking for a full time role- please reach out!

Start dates can also be flexible for February if needed.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Emery is 6 month old now. We are hoping to find another family to share a nanny together. The hosting place can be at your home or our apartment, Time needed will be approximately 8-5 or 9-6 for M-F. I work at South San Francisco so I am also OK with dropping him off along 101-S/ 280-S. Please message me if interested. Thanks!

Hi, I and my husband are the parents of a gorgeous and increadably happy little boy. He is the center of our world and brings so much light and joy to us. My husband and I both work in the food service industry and are looking for someone to keep him safe and loved while we are away for the day.

We will need a nanny for a 4 month old boy starting in October. My husband and I both work full time. We are looking to spend under $2k/a month. We would need care from 7:30 am-6 pm, Monday-Friday. We would love to do a nanny share. We have 1 cat that will most likely keep to herself.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Emeryville, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Emeryville, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Emeryville, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
