A little bit about us

Hi we're a family of 4 with a 3rd kiddo due November 2021. The first two kids are in school from 8am to 3pm so looking for someone who can come before school is out to help me with errands and prep snack and dinner for the kids and then pick up kids from school. From there it's snack time, afternoon activity, dinner, and bath. We have no pets.

A little bit about us

Danielle and Chris both work in entertainment. We both work full time but do part time work from home.

Cameron is 6 in 1st grade and the main need for him is pick-up from school (M to F), take to sports, do homework, occasionally prepare dinner and bath. Hours typically afternoon (unless school holiday then all day) from after school until bedtime and then some help on weekends. Someone who can make him do homework and do it correctly without either parent supervising is important.

Quinn is 7 months and is in full time daycare from 7:00 to 5:30 so will need occasional help with Quinn in the evenings but parents should be home.

Sometimes events at night for which we will need to stay late some nights and put both boys to bed.

Other responsibilities would be potentially walking dog who is a small and sweet dog (25 pounds).

We would like someone who can help keep Cameron's room neat and organized and help him learn to keep his own room neat and organized. Same thing with the garage which is his primary play area. We are teaching him independence.

A little bit about us

I have a two month baby born in January. I work from home so would like someone to come over to our place.

Expectations: We would like her to learn Mandarin. I know she’s still young but would like to start introducing her to it so she can learn. If it works out, hoping for a long term nanny too. While she is sleeping if you can help tidy the place up a bit. No need to cook for us. Not high expectations but just watch her while mom is working in the room and in her meetings.

Days: Monday-Thursday and sometimes Friday. Preferably between the hours of 8AM-4PM but let me know if earlier is better my job is kind of flexible.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Manhattan Beach, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Manhattan Beach, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Manhattan Beach, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
