A little bit about us

My name is Don and I have two wonderful little girls named Harmony and Melody. I am honestly new to this but I am looking for someone that is great with kids and could potentially live in for planned trips when I take the wife out. The caretaker would have to tend to the kids Monday through Friday full time and be able to cook healthy meals and keeps the kids entertained. Harmony is independent so not much care would be needed for her but melody is a lot younger so she would need a lot more attention. You would also need a license with a vehicle and CPR/FIRST AID qualifications. Harmony is enrolled in daycare so she is expected to attend Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and you would have to tend to melody for majority of the day. A kind, gentle, and attentive person would be needed for the job at hand so feel free to contact me and let’s set something up.

A little bit about us

Hello! My name is Leeann and my husband Keefe and I are looking for part time child care. Our son Robert is the sweetest little boy! He is super smiley and giggly and loves to cuddle. He is around 4 months old. I am looking for a nanny two days a week (Thursday and Friday, but am open to swap one of these days for Wednesday), from about 8-5 PM (hours can be flexible). I work from home (until July when I have to go back into the office 4 days a week) so will be here while you are here working. We would also like someone who can do some light housework (dishes, wiping surfaces, picking up toys) and let our dog out once or twice a day to use the bathroom. He is a very sweet and mellow blue heeler. We have 4 cats as well but no care is needed for them (unless you want to give some pets!). We live near many large parks in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for getting outdoors for some playtime! Looking forward to hearing from you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Rancho Cordova, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Rancho Cordova, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Rancho Cordova, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
