A little bit about us

We are moving to Upland in early-mid February and need to find child care ASAP. We are looking for nanny or daycare to take care of our 2-year-old son 30-36 hours a week.

*There is a potential that we will enroll him into pre-school part-time in the summer or fall.

We're looking for someone who is Spanish speaking, is able to prepare his meals and help with his laundry if we hire a nanny over daycare. You must also have reliable transportation, be vaccinated and LGBT friendly.

We are also open to a nanny-share.

Thank you in advance!

A little bit about us

Hello!
I have 2 kiddos… a 2 year old girl, Ivy, and a 5 month old (2 months adjusted age) boy, Benjamin who is currently on oxygen support. I am only looking for a part-time nanny to help with my 2 year old. Mondays & Wednesdays from 8am-12pm. We are just looking for someone who can play with her, take her to the park/on walks, take her to her gymboree classes/library… Keep her entertained while I care for my son/home. We do have a dog so I would like someone who is comfortable around dogs & could take her on walks with Ivy!

A little bit about us

My husband and I have 6 month twin boys and are looking for a full time nanny to help support us. We both work remotely from home but would still need support during the day to help care for the boys. I am still on maternity leave but plan to return to work full time mid October. The position would start part time (a few days per week) then transition full time (approx. 40 hrs per week) when I return to work in October. We would also like someone who is available when needed on weekends if we have an event / dinner/ etc. (we would provide ample heads up for these days). Ideally we would like someone who is able to help follow their schedule (wake windows, naps, etc.), knowledge of milestones (solids, crawling, etc), help with light household tasks, and can provide 2 - 3 references. Experience with multiples would also be a plus!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Upland, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Upland, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Upland, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
