Hello,
My family and I are searching for a nanny to take care of our precious 5-month-old, while maintaining order around the home. Days/Hours are MTTH 8-5, W 8-12 and F 8-3 (end times could be sooner based on work schedule) We are looking for someone to watch over him as they would their own.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Maintaining baby's awake time and sleep (nap) schedule
- Playing with baby safely while fostering developmental growth
- Sustaining baby's cleanliness, safety and good health
Ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, a great communicator, warm, patient, caring, creative, respectful and fun.
We do have two small dogs, so please consider that when applying.

A little bit about us

Hello!

We are looking for a nanny for our energetic and adorable 9-month-old. Work would be 2 to 4 days a week, 3-4 hours per day. (We'd likely start with 2 days and build up to more as we return to work.) Also looking for the occasional date night.

Our son is a very happy guy and definitely on the move so we're looking for someone who can match his energy and loves active play, reading, taking him in the yard, thinking up fun activities, etc! During his naps, we'd also love help keeping the house tidy... things like laundry (mostly his, as well as "house laundry" like towels) and light chores like emptying the dishwasher. Help with prepping his meals would also be a plus.

Please reach out with more about yourself if this sounds like it may be a good fit!

Thanks!
Mitch & Leslie

She is eating some solids, baby snacks, drinking formula, and puree baby food. I'm looking for a kind, patient, and nurturing nanny to care our little princess.

A little bit about us

We are hoping to find someone to help us with our sweet 6-month-old baby every Thursday (full day) and every other Friday (half day). There would be an option to extend these hours in the future. Our baby is healthy and happy, and spends most of his day going for stroller walks, taking 3 naps per day, and working on tummy time. There would be no need for driving him to appointments or administering medication. He is currently bottle fed and while we are introducing solids, we do not require that you do so (unless you are comfortable with it). We live in a clean, non smoking home, and have set a schedule for his days that he has no problem following. He is just starting to babble and roll over but is not crawling yet. His dad works from home so would be available should you need anything, but would be working on a separate floor so you would have plenty of space to be with the baby.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Ventura, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Ventura, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Ventura, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
