A little bit about us

My husband and I both work from home but need assistance with our 11-month-old two to three days per week in the mornings to mid-afternoons while we are in meetings. I am the VP of Operations for our company and he is a software engineer. We currently have a nanny that comes Monday and Wednesday from 9 am - 1 pm but she is not longer available to help us. So we are hoping to find someone who will be able to come the same days for maybe a longer period of time if needed. Our son is a fun, loving, happy, and silly little guy who just started walking .

A little bit about us

We just welcomed our first child the end of January 2024. We are looking for a possible nanny that we will feel comfortable leaving our son with when I return back to work in April. I leave for work around 7 am while my husband gets home from work around 3:30 pm so we are looking for someone that would watch our baby during that time Monday-Friday (for the most part). If there are any appointments, myself or my husband will cover that. Really we are just looking for someone we feel comfortable leaving our 1st born child w/ when we are at work. We do have a 4 year old French Bulldog who is the most perfect dog and will not be any problem at all. But we will need you to let him out to the bathroom if needed.

A little bit about us

I am a stay at home mom who needs help juggling a two year old boy and an infant. We need help on the weekdays beginning 9/26. Exact time and days can be discussed. We follow somewhat of a Montessori approach so knowledge in that area would be helpful, but not necessary. Meal prep would also be nice but not a must.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Fullerton, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Fullerton, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Fullerton, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
