A little bit about us

KC is a very happy and lovely child with some fairly serious developmental disabilities operating at a fifth or sixth grade level. She has a great attitude and is quite a ham, entertaining us often with her fashion shows. She is the daughter of my sister who has mild mental retardation but is very high functioning and works as a child care worker. KC is currently enrolled at a wonderful private school and is doing well but is not anywhere near her peers in her studies. Our family consists of my father (83), my sister (49), myself (51), and KC (14). We spend a lot of time together and I usually take KC on the weekends. KC and my sister Cindy live in their own house and my father and I live in another home about a mile away from each other. KC is very high functioning but needs to be taught life skills and independent living. She loves cooking with me and taking care of our plants but it would be wonderful if someone looking after her could help her develop other interests and improve her academic skills.

The individual looking after her would work 40 hours a week and help prepare meals, do the shopping, pick up and drop off KC from school and take KC on adventures and to cultural institutions. A car could be provided.

Duties would include driving children to sports and music lessons, some errands like groceries, and making sure homework/snack/lunch/baths are finished. Easy dinner prep/clean up and tidying up, too. A little bit about us

We are a McLean family looking for a full time nanny beginning in September to care for our toddler son (age 10 months) and 7 year old daughter. Since our daughter will be in school during the day, primary responsibility will be for the care of our son. Our daughter will need to be driven to a few after school activities a week, so the nanny must have their own car. There will be some light housework required as well. We prefer a nanny with prior childcare experience, but all applicants are invited to apply. Salary and benefits are negotiable based on prior experience. Please call or text at [phone number hidden], or email me.

A little bit about us

Hi!

We are the Malhotra family and we are looking for a live out or live in nanny to help with our kids.
We live in McLean Virginia. Our home is very lively and energetic, mostly fueled by our 2 year old son. He has enjoyed the first two years with our au pairs. Our au pair coordinates many play dates, music/sports/art and swim classes. He is a very active toddler and certainly loves an outing. He will be starting school in September (half day). We also have a two week old newborn baby girl.

My husband and I are both physicians and work full time. During the evenings and weekends we love spending time together as a family, going on walks, exploring new places and trying new restaurants. We love having our family over to visit often as well as traveling to new destinations.

We are looking for a nanny who:
- has significant child care experience and who is interested in taking care of a toddler and an infant.
- is an experienced driver as she will be expected to do school drop off/ pick up
- is flexible and adaptable with changing needs in childcare as children grow and develop.
- has initiative and is proactive in childcare (making their meals, doing their laundry, cleaning nursery and playroom, arranging play dates.
- is Spanish speaking
- is clean, organized and neat.
- opportunity for extra hours for date nights.
- is professional, mature, independent, confident, trustworthy, reliable and punctual.

Thank you!
