This position involves providing attentive childcare, supporting daily schedules, and helping to create a safe, enriching environment for our kids. Typical responsibilities include supervising playtime, preparing meals and snacks for the children, managing nap schedules, and assisting with early learning activities like reading, crafts, and developmental play. Light housekeeping related to the children is expected, such as tidying play areas, doing the children’s laundry, and cleaning up after meals.
Our ideal candidate has previous experience working with young children, is CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification), and is responsible, organized, and dependable. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is preferred, especially if transportation to parks or activities is needed. We value strong communication and hope to find someone who feels like an extension of our family.
Compensation is based on the number of children being cared for: $25 per hour for one child, $27 per hour for two children, and $30 per hour for three children. We offer paid vacation based on average weekly hours worked, along with other benefits that can be discussed. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 8-12 with occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends if available.
