A little bit about us…

Hello! We’re first time parents to an adorable, curious, sensitive and funny little 20 month old, Cal. Our nanny who we adore and has been with us since Cal was 12 weeks old unfortunately has to leave us in December to deal with some medical issues. We are devastated, but are hopeful we can find another great fit.

Cal is fun, active, silly, sensitive and stubborn and loves to spend lots of time outside. He’s a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. We live on the Mesa near a lot of parks and are looking for someone who is comfortable taking him to and participating in all of activities (currently goes to music class, swim glass, gym, etc). We also would love someone who’s knowledgeable about early child development and can help with fun and stimulating activities that will help our little guy learn and grow!

My husband and I both work from home, so you should be comfortable with us being in the house, though we’ll try to stay out of your way!

We are currently exploring the option of starting half day Montessori day care three days per week so we’re ideally looking for someone open to part time hours (3 half days per week and 1-2 full days per week) but if it was the perfect fit , we could consider full time.

Spanish speaking / bilingual would be ideal, but not a requirement!

If this sounds like you, please reach out!

A little bit about us…

I'm looking for someone to watch my fun, active boys in the afternoons from 11:30-5 during the work week while I am tutoring students. We are screen free during the week but they love sports, books, puzzles, games, exploring...and so much more. Since we don't allow screens, I don't ask for any other jobs other than playing with my children and picking my older son up from school 2 days a week....on the same street we live on. We are looking for someone long term who will be able to keep up with their bubbly energy and desire to learn. We also have an adorable puppy of 6 months who is super sweet and friendly. My husband and I are
born and raised in SB and just can't get enough of all that this beautiful city has to offer. We can't wait to meet you!

A little bit about us…

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family! We live in Santa Barbara, where my husband works as a doctor and I work as a professor at UCLA. We have two young children - our older boy is 3-years-old and our younger boy is 18-months-old - and a new baby joining our family at the end of April! We also have a friendly dog named Bear.

We are hoping to find a nanny who will be a part of our family for many years to come, and we are open to changing our schedule - days of the week or times - for the right person! Our children's daily schedule typically includes: breakfast, a trip to a local park or library with a "picnic" lunch and preschool for our older son on some days, a 2 to 3-hour nap, and play time at home. Our older son goes to preschool 3 days a week for 3-hours in the morning. On those days, we would appreciate help with his drop-off and pick-up. During nap-time, we appreciate help with meal prep, laundry, etc.

We are a multi-language household and our children have been learning both French (which I speak with them) and Spanish (which our previous nanny spoke with them) since they were born. We would love to find a fluent Spanish speaker who could continue to teach them. In addition to language development, we encourage a love of reading, music, art, nature, and animals in our children.

We look forward to learning more about you!

A little bit about us…

Kaylor is our very bright and energetic 8 month old! He loves being in the spotlight and entertaining those around him. He’s very receptive and has a contagious laugh. He is a very easy going child but because he loves life, he naturally does not like falling asleep. The biggest learning curve for him is learning how to put him down for naps, but other than that, he has an easy time feeding and playing!

He needs to be hung out with from 8am-1pm Monday through Friday. We are flexible on the location (our house or yours). He’s good with dogs and cats if you have any, and he loves being outdoors. He gets bored easily when he is inside doing the same activity for too long, so as long as you can switch things up like taking him on a walk, going for a drive, reading to him, or just including him with your activities, he will be very happy!

A little bit about us…

My wife and I are looking for a nanny/babysitter part-time to take care of our two excellent children. Our daughter and son both go to Our Lady of Mount Carmel school and we would need someone to assist on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 8am to drive the kids to school and pick them up until we return from work around 6pm.

Due to the nature of the childcare, we need someone with a car and preferably someone who could take care of some household chores (laundry, basic cleaning, food preparation) when the children are at school.

A little bit about us…

Hello! I’m a PhD student and an instructor at UCSB. I’m looking for a babysitter who could look after my 6-month old daughter while I’m teaching (from 10 to 11am Tue-Wed-Thu and occasionally on Mondays) starting March 28th for the whole Spring quarter. It would be perfect for a UCSB student as I could bring my daughter to campus and you would just go for a walk with her or play in the grass. I may need more hours for my own research and class preparation but I can be flexible according to your schedule.
Vaxxed & boosted and Covid careful.
Please get in touch if you are interested!
