A little bit about us

Hello! Looking for a responsible, fun and caring nanny, ~40 hrs per week, 5x days per week.
Mostly 1x infant, a few hours per day would be helping Sadie (6.5) & Millie (3.5), possibly picking them up from school, late afternoon without the baby. Husband & I both work at home so, we all pitch in when needed. Especially when we need to parent/correct the girls.
Personality, family fit/trust/communication is key.
Duties; #1 all things baby, must have infant experience.
Plus family helper, tidy up house/rooms, vacuum/wipe, whatever is required (we keep a very tidy home). I like to say, I’ll never ask someone to do something that I wouldn’t do or that we don’t implement/keep up. We will hire cleaners regularly but the expectation will be that that person will also help clean / tidy up, treat our house like their own.
We are a fun, scheduled and consistent family/household raising respectful kids. We even have recommendations from our two previous nannies who are unable to commit to full time jobs with us, which is why we are in search of our new favorite person!

A little bit about us

We are looking for a nanny primarily for our 2 month old baby girl and someone who is open to taking care of our two toddlers (2 and almost 4) as needed (mainly some mornings, evenings, and when they are off school; they are in full-time preschool).

Ideal Hours/Schedule: We both work from home (part-time for one of us and full-time for the other) and we are looking for a nanny to work a consistent schedule Monday - Thursday (ideally starting by 7:30 AM and ending around 5 PM). We can be more flexible with Fridays but will at least need 6 hours consistently from the morning through mid-afternoon. We are open to talking through the exact schedule and hours but do want to provide our girls with consistency. Comfort with parents working from home is a must. We also expect some housekeeping (dishes, laundry, etc.)

A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a nanny for our little baby boy starting in March. He’s currently 10 weeks old. We are looking for someone Monday through Friday 9am - 5:30pm with the occasional start time at 7:30am (only when my husband has to be out of town, which is approximately once a month). We are interested in light housekeeping but no meal prep or cooking. We’re mainly just looking for someone who will love on our little boy while we are at work. We are a happy, quiet, kind couple who love the beach, travel, cooking and family. Our baby is sweet and not very fussy, which has made parenthood fun so far (don’t tell the other new parents)!

A little bit about us

Hello, my husband and I are expecting our first baby in March and we will likely need assistance starting August or September 2024. Ideally, we would like to find local nanny-share versus using a day care but we are open to all options.

My husband goes into the office and I work from home, so ideally, we would likely need assistance between the hours of 7-4.

We would need assistance with general newborn care and associated chores.

A little bit about us

Hi! We have one daughter who was born January 6th. We are looking for a nanny to start in May while we work full-time from home, from Monday-Thursday from 8-5pm. We would like to have someone babysit our daughter before starting in May. Our ideal nanny would speak English and Spanish to help teach our little one to be bilingual. There would be some light housekeeping only pertaining to our daughter (cleaning bottles, putting away toys after use). We look forward to meeting you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Manhattan Beach, CA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Manhattan Beach, CA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Manhattan Beach, CA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
