A little bit about us

My son Nathaniel will be three in September this year. He was diagnosed back in July 2022 with moderate to severe autism. He is mostly nonverbal but can communicate with PECs (picture exchange communication system) which was introduced by his ABA therapy. He receives ABA, OT and speech therapy routinely. He is a sweet, affectionate, energetic and busy kid. He is overall well behaved with some meltdowns. I am in need of someone to watch him 3 days a week while I am in the office. Nathaniel's dad is active-duty Navy and I have a full-time government job. I telework twice a week and I am in the office three days a week. Dad may deploy soon. Would prefer an in-home Nanny but open to dropping him off somewhere if it feels right and comfortable.
Current schedule is: telework Mon and Tues 0700 to 1530. In office (days needing childcare) Wed through Fri 0615 to [phone number hidden] if possible (I have to drive to Naval Station Norfolk).
