My husband (Ramji) and I are expecting a babyboy this coming May (2021). We are looking for someone who loves dogs and kids as we have one 15lbs cockapoo that we love and adore so much. We are open to any kind of arrangement, whether it's a live-in nanny or daytime nanny, but we are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of experience. Chinese speaker preferred (doesn't need to be fluent but need to be able to communicate). This a short-term arrangement initially and could potentially turn into a long-term arrangement if we find each other to be a good fit!! Starting after labor day, we are looking for help driving our daughter to preschool in the morning (8:30 a.m. pick-up at our home in Potrero Hill and 9 a.m. drop-off at her school in NoPa) and then back home at the end of the day (5 p.m. pick-up in NoPa and 5:30 p.m. drop-off in Potrero Hill). We could also use help watching her and her brother for an hour or so on arriving home as we make dinner.
Prior childcare experience required and Spanish fluency is a plus.
Some light housekeeping/laundry, meal prep, and small errands could also be helpful.

Description:
Looking for a nurturing, dedicated, and reliable nanny who can provide full-time care for our son who will be 6 months old in Sept 2025.
Childcare responsibilities include creating an environment for babies to grow and thrive, organizing a fun day with appropriate feeding, nap, and activity times, organizing outings to local parks, libraries, and playdates, child-related household tasks including but not limited to preparing nutritious meals for the baby, tidying, laundry.
While not a requirement for the role, someone who loves cooking and is open to helping prepare dinner for the family a few nights a week would be appreciated (and can be additionally compensated).
While not a requirement for the role, Mandarin speaking is a plus.
Start date: July - Sept 2025 (flexible)
Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week ideally 8AM-6PM Monday through Thursday with Fridays off unless requested in advance. Additional hours for evenings and weekends may be asked for in advance and appreciated.
Benefits: Open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, and sick days.
Live-in/ Live-out: Prefer live-out, but live-in can be discussed.
