The idea is that it will be more or less full time for a few weeks and then we’ll see where we are. Hopefully everything will be fine, maybe it will continue longer, maybe we’ll go down to a few days a week.
Blythe is eight, and if left unattended would probably just read until her eyes fell out. She love legos and puzzles and board games. She plays cello and is learning the piano. Wonderful and easygoing, she’s a gem.
Pip is five, and a force of nature. She’s very funny and very opinionated, and will talk about anything with anybody for as long as she can keep her breath up. She loves make believe play (especially pet hospital or ice cream shop) and also loves to draw and color. She’s a bit more of a handful, but is so much fun it’s worth the while.
I work a remote tech job that’s based on Chicago time, so I’m usually busiest from around 9am to 3pm.
General duties include keeping the children alive, not relying on screens for entertainment (although it’s not like we’re a screen free house, they watch movies and play video games), fixing simple snacks (pbj, hotdogs, etc) and doing some light schoolwork with them.
Ideally looking for someone to start asap, and work 9am-3pm M-F. If you’d like to work more hours on top of that, it’s totally possible.
